Introduction

SpicyRanking.com ("we," "our," or "the Site") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and visitors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our services or appearing on our Site.

This policy outlines the procedure for submitting a valid DMCA notice and our process for responding to such notices.


Submitting a DMCA Takedown Request

If you believe that content available on SpicyRanking.com infringes your copyright, you must provide us with a written notice that includes the following information (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notice.
  • Identification of the infringing material to be removed or disabled, including a URL or specific description sufficient for us to locate the material.

  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Response to DMCA Requests

  • We will acknowledge and review all valid DMCA notices within 48 hours.
  • Infringing material will be removed or access to it disabled as quickly as reasonably possible.
  • We may notify the alleged infringer of your request and provide them with a copy of your notice.

Counter-Notification

If material you posted on the Site was removed due to a DMCA request and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. A valid counter-notice must include:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district (or if outside the U.S., to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, USA), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in question within 10–14 business days, unless the original complainant seeks a court order to block it.


Repeat Infringer Policy

We may terminate the accounts or access privileges of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
